“3” Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
“3” Apple Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout w/ Cacao and Madagascar Vanilla Bean. This luscious stout spent 16 months in an apple brandy barrel before being infused with copious amounts of cacao nibs from the wonderful folks at @frenchbroadchocolate plus a heavy-handed addition of Bourbon vanilla. “3” is packed full with aromas of so many varied chocolate confections- chocolate covered cherries, milk chocolate bars, Rolos, hot chocolate, brownie batter, Cadbury eggs, extra dark bars, KitKats, Riesens (you get the idea). This is somehow our very first time sourcing cacao through French Broad, and now we totally understand why their products are so effing amazing. This beer was fantastic straight out the barrel, but that cacao dosing, backed up with that kiss of vanilla, really takes this stout to the next level. Available on draft and in 500ml bottles.
