The fine folks over at PennyCup Coffee Co aged green La Angostura beans in a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel, then roasted them to perfection. We then made concentrated cold brew with them and blended that into our Helles Lager. The results are a beer that smells of black coffee, light bourbon, and a faint malty sweetness, while still maintaining an approachable flavor profile.
